The regional comprehensive economic partnership (RCEP) has come into effect at the beginning of the new year, this also means the establishment of the free trade zone with the largest global economic volume and trade scale. Under the weak recovery of and rising uncertainties in the global economy, can RCEP bring more hope to the world? Steven Allen Barnett, the chief representative of the International Monetary Fund in China, once said:” Multilateral cooperation can promote trade integration and ensure that these benefits can be shared by people all over the world”.
RCEP directly shows the potentiality for the development of Global trade by sharing the market. The creative power of imagination has an important role in the achievement of success in any field. With the entry into force of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), we can imagine that RCEP will have a bright future.
We have reason to believe that RCEP, as the most promising FTA covering the largest population and most diverse membership, RCEP will not only drive the growth of global trade investment but also promote the global economic recovery.
