1. Origin place of Coffee    
Coffee originated in Yemen at the end of the 15th century, then spread to the Middle East and Europe, and developed its own characteristics in different regions. The main origins of coffee in the world are:

Colombia: Colombian coffee beans have a balanced texture, sweet and mellow, with subtle fruit and nut flavors. 

Brazil: Brazil is the world's largest coffee producer. Brazilian coffee is mostly moderately acidic, light and smooth in texture, and long aftertaste.

Indonesia: Indonesia produces famous Mandheling and Java coffee. The former has a strong texture and syrup and chocolate flavors. The latter has a refreshing texture with floral and fruity flavors. 

In addition, countries such as Ethiopia, Kenya and Mexico also produce specialty coffees. Coffee has become one of the three most popular beverages in the world.

2. China's Imported Coffee Market  

China is an important coffee importing country. China's coffee imports exceed exports. In the first half of 2022, China's coffee imports reached 461,399,963 kg, with an import value of US$252,974,618; exports reached 27,695,889 kg, with an export value of US$136,025,101. China imports coffee from more than 70 countries, of which the largest is from Vietnam, accounting for 22.35% of total imports. 

Chinese consumers' knowledge and acceptance of coffee has increased year by year, which provides important opportunities for global coffee producers to expand the Chinese market. Many internationally renowned coffee brands have entered China, promoting high-quality coffee in China through self-operation or cooperation with local brands.

In recent years, many coffee brands have emerged in the Chinese coffee market: coffee-based Coffee+, coffee-attached +Coffee, enriching the industrial landscape of Chinese coffee. The development prospects of China's coffee industry are broad.  

In the future, with the changes in living standards and consumption concepts, China's coffee market still has great growth potential, which also provides ample space for global coffee producers to expand their business in China.
